Myth (common perception which is false): Money

Money is a valid reason for people to move to the USA with no education. If they lived in India, they may become a driver or handyman making ₹15-20K per month. However in America, if they work hard (most immigrants do), they can own a small business that earns them $80-100K per year, and can then own a house and car.
But this is mostly NOT true for IT professionals or people with a formal education. Please read the blog https://www.25yearsinusa.com/post/salary-vs-living-expenses. The reason they move to the USA is lifestyle. ‘Good lifestyle in the USA’ as I define include the following -
Owning a house, a proper house with green grass, white fence and a large backyard. Almost anyone, including a maid, can own a house in a nice USA like the way you see in postcards.

Almost anyone, including a handyman, can own a car. You can buy an used car for $2500 which is a month's salary for handyman.
Open space. Grass is so green and thick. I feel happy just thinking about it :).
Clean land, water and air. You can walk anywhere, drink tap water, breathe the air and feel good about it.
A lot of facilities for recreation - parks, tennis courts, state and national parks, lakes and rivers.
